Handmade Sofas & Armchairs
Our sofas and armchairs are made to order in our Cheltenham workshop using traditional upholstery skills, natural materials and accountable hands. Each piece can be adapted in size, fabric, cushion feel and finishing detail, creating bespoke furniture that is comfortable, repairable and made to be kept.
BETTY
Betty has clean lines, a refined silhouette and supportive seat and back cushions. Handmade to order in our Cheltenham workshop, it is a quietly tailored sofa or armchair for rooms that need comfort without heaviness.
Choose feather cushions for a softer, more relaxed sit, or wool seat cushions with feather backs for more support. Bespoke sizes, fabrics and finishing details are available.

FRED
Fred is generous in scale and quietly bold in character. With its deep seat, turned legs and brass castors, it brings relaxed sophistication to a room while still feeling made for everyday living.

NANCY
Nancy is a classic shape with delicate curves, a gently sweeping back and a slightly higher sit. It brings softness and elegance to a room, while still offering the comfort and support of a traditionally made sofa or armchair.
Shown with plain seams, Nancy can also be made with bespoke finishing details. Choose feather cushions for a soft, relaxed feel, or wool seat cushions for more support.

SID
Sid is boxy, deep and simple, with a crisp top-stitch finish and a low, generous sit. Made for stretching out, gathering together and properly relaxing, it is a sofa with quiet confidence and real comfort.
Feather cushions give Sid a soft, sink-in feel, while wool seat cushions with feather backs offer more support. Handmade to order, Sid can be adapted in size, fabric and detail to suit the room it is made for.

Violet is a graceful occasional chair with soft curves and a tailored form. Quietly luxurious and beautifully proportioned, it is designed to sit easily within a considered interior, whether alone or as part of a larger scheme.
We recommend a soft feather seat cushion and piped edge detailing for a refined finish. Violet is handmade to order in our Cheltenham workshop and can be adapted in fabric and detail.

ELLA
Ella is our modular sofa system, designed for flexibility, comfort and generous living. Deep cushions and separate footstool sections allow it to be configured as a chaise, corner sofa or larger relaxed seating arrangement.
We recommend feather-wrapped wool for the larger cushions, giving softness while helping them hold their shape. Each section is handmade to order and can be built around the room, the layout and the way it will be used.
